Becoming a flight instructor is an incredible privilege and opportunity to inspire and nurture upcoming pilots of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. It requires a serious commitment not only to becoming proficient at all the required knowledge and maneuvers, but also at learning how to teach, manage risk and judgment, demonstrate critical thinking, and communicate effectively. Most important, though, is having a love for all of your students, no matter who they are or what their dreams or ability levels may be. You will have the amazing responsibility and joy of shepherding students through the learning process to achieve their own aviation goals.
