Featuring a steam-gauge panel with a GPS resembling the Garmin 530W, the Redbird provides an excellent simulation of visual or instrument flying worldwide. Private pilot students can use the Redbird to acknowledge the risks of flight into IFR conditions, while instrument students can count simulator time towards their rating requirements and practice approaches not easily reached in a standard training flight. The Redbird may also be used for instrument currency.
