N172RB: 2021 Redbird TD2-S

Clouds keeping you grounded? Looking for a refresher in instrument flying without the risk of icing and missing a radio call? Always wanted to land at the Kennedy Space Center or a grass strip in sub-Saharan Africa? The Redbird TD2 is here to help. Featuring a steam-gauge panel with a GPS resembling the Garmin 530W, the Redbird provides an excellent simulation of visual or instrument flying worldwide. Private pilot students can use the Redbird to acknowledge the risks of flight into IFR conditions, while instrument students can count simulator time towards their rating requirements and practice approaches not easily reached in a standard training flight. The Redbird may also be used for instrument currency.
